Examining advertices here in germany I found out that I will get a discount
by renting the car for seven days or more *on the same island*.

Does anyone know of a possibility to get the discount when splitting the
rental time over two islands (i. e. Kauai and Maui)?

Hertz has done that in the past --- give them a call and see if they
still do it.
